
About the author
Hello and welcome — I’m Anderson Mc Bain, a published author, photographer and crafter, from the beautiful island of Trinidad in the twin-island Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. My love for reading and writing began early, encouraged by my mother, who always said, “Don’t give up — keep writing more books.” Those words still guide me today as I write nonfiction books, drawn from real experiences, personal stories, and everyday moments that have shaped me.
Beyond the page, I’m a champion for animal, human, and workers’ rights. I have a background in labour studies. I’m also a gardener at heart — a strong supporter of growing your own food and sustainable living — and I often find creative sparks in the soil, the kitchen, and behind the camera. One of my photographs was featured on the cover of The Indigenous Magazine for an exhibition, and I just completed my third book, which is listed below. This book is the companion to my first book.
